The Diversity Events: A series of medium length roleplaying events built to encourage roleplayers to expand into the shoes of races they normally would not. Credit to Sastri and Calathor for contributing to the idea as well as me.

Our aim for these events is simple; to get you guys to have a go at playing new characters and hopefully forcing you out of your comfort zone a little. It’s great for actors and roleplaying aint that far from acting so I think it’d be a fun opportunity. It might even begin the process of developing a brand new character you love. If not, you can just delete them and say you had fun while he or she was around.

We’ll set the events in the starting areas of the faction’s races. The orc event will be in the Valley of Trials, the undead event will be in Tirisfal and so on. We’ll be constructing a number of scenarios for your new characters to fit seamlessly into and we’ll have plenty of room for you to join in on your higher levels too if you already play the race involved.

We will be descending down the default race list, ergo, we will be beginning with orcs and then moving onto undead in the following week. The only real issue is that these events will be difficult to participate in if you have flooded your character list with blood elves and nothing else... But for those of you out there with a free character slot, I promise it’ll be fun!

There will be more information about the event shortly. For now, I’ll just end it here and prepare a scenario for the participants.

Expect more information about the orc scenario within the next few days. Please show your support if you approve and it will draw some more attention. If it's popular, I might even expand it to the Alliance side.

I find that the actual ressurection of a Forsaken is something perfect for RP, but so rarely actually done.))

A Child of The Earth Mother

Wind be at your back, friend.

As is sacred tradition amongst our people, Elders shall be performing the trials of aging upon the fifteenth moon. Younglings wishing to show they can become one with the tribe must take part, for both us, and to become a child of the Earth Mother.

For once also, we are allowing those willing to renew their rites. Although this is not necessary, anyone who wishes to perform the trials for a second time, for whatever reason they feel they have the need, may do so with the blessings of our elders.

In these trials, you will learn or remember the significance of our spiritual entunement. A life is not to be taken without great consideration, nor without remorse. We hunt because the Earth Mother allows it so, and we should honour this to ensure that our hunting does not break the equilibrium of nature.

Let us meet in Mulgore, friends. Until then.

The Arcane Hunger

Some sort of gathering in the ruined remains of Silvermoon has perked the interests of our magisters. It would appear that a currently unidentified source of magic is drawing in droves of mana addicts and wretches which do naught but befoul the remnants of our great former home. We ask of you, as citizens of Silvermoon and servants of Quel’thalas to discover the source of this intrigue and to confiscate it.

We are entrusting you with this charge, and pray that you have no qualms with dealing with the vermin that skitter through our land.

Gather in Falconwing Square and await deployment options. Try to tidy yourselves up a little beforehand...
