The revolution has begun.

It is time we bring a permanent end to the Emporium and their vice grip upon our world. They cut the earth with their machines, they pollute the air and waters with their noxious gases and fuels, and they abuse the fires of Azeroth for their own selfish ends.

The elements have spoken. The Emporium must fall!

Before we can assault their main facility and finally put a stop to their barbarism, we must loosen their hold on our lands. We can do this by covertly or indeed loudly disrupting and destroying their operations around The Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor and Pandaria. We must also put a dent in their operations on the Outlands, and ensure they cannot recover in Northrend.

We will start where they are weakest: The Eastern Kingdoms. I’ve singled out five areas where their control needs to be lifted. Here are the directions on how to do so.

Image

Nickelbolt Dominance over Eastern Kingdoms: 80%

1. The Red Zone

The zone marked as red is the kingdoms of Lordaeron and Quel’thalas. The Emporium’s presence in these areas takes the form of trade caravans that move up from the Seplucher all the way to Silvermoon, stopping at Undercity and Andorhal on the way. The caravans mostly transport weapons which are greatly sort after in the competed area of the Western Plaguelands and are always fairly well defended. Somehow, some way, these caravans need to be stopped. You could do it through force, espionage, trickery, theft, but the important thing to remember is that you cannot just deal with a single caravan. You need to block the flow, permanently.

2. The White Zone
The Azureload Mine in the Hillsbrad Foothills provides a healthy income to the Emporium. They use the gems dug up there to make crystalline jewellery and decorative models which blood elves love. They also use them to feed their sandstone drakes, meaning that without this mine, the drakes will go hungry and could cause some chaos within the facility. The mine needs to be closed down, destroyed, or taken over by another party. The choice is up to you.

3. The Green Zone

LIBERATED

The green zone is home to the silt diggers of Loch Modan. Since the lake was drained after the dam’s destruction, Nickelbolt sifters have been collecting valuable minerals from the exposed land. The minerals can fetch quite a price in some alchemy and jewellery shops and so it’s important that this operation is brought to a stop. The goblins rely on their ability to hide from alliance patrols. Causing the alliance to become aware of the goblins’ presence may well result in a skirmish they simply cannot win. Alternatively, you could take care of the rats yourselves.

4. The Purple Zone

LIBERATED

Since the forgotten land of Vash’jir become unearthed (unwatered?...Unearthed...) The Emporium have sought to find ways to abuse its visitors. Their trade ships purposely move across the area, so that those in desperate need of rescue from the chilly waters might be able to pay for their rescue to occur. These ships need to be stopped, for the sake of ceasing the Emporium’s trade lines.

5. The Blue Zone

Finally, the blue zone. The control here comes from the oil fields in Stranglethorn Vale. Without oil, The Emporium will be unable to fuel their airships and boats, giving us a fighting chance of approaching their facility. As much as it pains me to say this, the oil fields cannot be destroyed, as the Horde also has need of it. Instead, the Emporium’s cut of the so called “black gold” must be separated and disposed of.

As a final note, you need to be aware of the Iron Moon, and The Nickelbolt Agents. Defeating an agent in any of the highlighted areas will instantly reduce that area’s control to 0%. The Iron Moon is a satalite weapon, capable of raining down toxic liquid upon unsuspecting heads. As you endeavour to stop the Emporium, beware the rain. Never trust it, never stand in a downpour. The rain could kill you. Remember that.

Defeating an agent will instantly complete one of the missions if you are standing in a controlled area))

I figure it's worth posting an update on how the players are doing in regards to the agents and missions.

So far five agents have been killed by several different players in different areas and circumstances.

Fizzliks Nickelbolt tried to find some information on the Emporium's Iron Moon project; a weapon that can rain chemical toxins down upon designated targets from orbit. Her actions made Ridrick Nickelbolt suspicious, and Fizzliks was unfairly discharged from her position thanks to a false video that supposedly depicted her breaching contractual rules.

Ryder Worsch was a target following his escaping from Emporium custody with valuable and secret information. An ambush was set up for him in The Broken Keel. The siege didn't go well.

First to die was Agent Smash, who met his end after the failed siege attempt on the Keel at the hands of Ryder Worsch and co. Agent Rook only just managed to escape with his life. Threats were made and the target list was updated. Agent Smash's death drove his number one fan Agent Shadow into a vengeful rampage.

A public technological demonstration is held in Northrend, during which Ridrick, appearing in holographic form, poisoned a group of alliance and horde heroes using the Iron Moon, forcing them to turn on one another and destroy the fragile peace in Northrend to maintain their flow of customers and resources on the continent. The plan was stopped, thanks to Zyretha and a few others.

Meanwhile at Nickelbolt HQ, operations began to convert stone drakes into weapons, resulting in two new agents being created. Valerial was poisoned by Agent Shadow

Agent Rook was then fatally injured following an assassination attempt failing, by Bel'fan, Valeriel, Ryder, Harguk and Zyretha. He was brought to Dalaran before succumbing to his injuries. The Broodmother, a large matriarchal stone drake, was sent to destroy the resistance, but instead struck a deal with them, stating that if they could prove they were a match for the Emporium, she would join their cause. She has not done so yet.

Agent Rexas Scopesight met his end after a simple recon mission led him to Azshara, where he tracked and tried to bring down Serenial, who was in possession of Agent Rook's PDA. She resisted when he tried to take it from her, and managed to call for help. Agent Scope was overwhelmed and later killed by Serenial. His PDA, along with Wyatt's, were destroyed.

There was a slight pause in local activity as agents built up a presence on the region of Pandaria, but soon afterwards, Sabel Rubycut, a formidable agent and close friend to Ridrick, was killed by Serenial while attempting to capture her for her previous crimes. This triggered a wave of vengeful acts.

A group of six individuals, under direction of Daegeron Stormhide, then entered the "GREEN ZONE", a colour coded area of Emporium activities. They brought a halt to the silt operation that was occurring there by turning the local twilight camp against the goblins. During this operation, a new agent, Y'slieve Duskyearn, was killed at the hands of Eltharis Sunglaive.

Currently, Serenial is under careful watch by the Emporium, her paranoia gradually building as she notices the telltale signs of something following her. Ribur, a goblin under the employment of Bumi Sweetbuns, is in possession of Sabel Rubucut's PDA, and is currently trying to get past the login screen, with no luck so far. He removed the tracking beacon within the device and planted it in a replica, casually hiding it so that the Emporium would be tricked into thinking it had fallen back into their possession.

In a recent turn of unexpected events, Ridrick agreed to a meeting with Bumi Sweetbuns under the watchful gaze of many armed guards. While attempting to get Bumi to prove herself to him, he handed her a gun and demanded she shoot and kill Jeserine Anthea, in redemption for what her mother did to his agents. Bumi instead chose to shoot the device that had bound Jeserine's will, and then used the opportunity that presented itself with Ridrick's horror to incapacitate him and steal his kaja'mite headband: The source of most of his schemes, profiteering and a large bulk of his intelligence. Bumi was able to escape the scene by disguising herself as one of the hunting Emporium soldiers, but Jeserine once again fell into custody.

Without the band, Ridrick's mental stability will decrease exceedingly fast. His decisions will become more outrageous and violent, and his willingness to resort to acts of desperation will go through the roof.
